An absolutely stunning book produced for the use of professional bakers in Germany. with bright chromolithograph plates, blueprint instructions for creating masterpieces in the form of elaborate cakes, cookies and confections, not to mention waffle houses, fondant moulds, and more. There's even a double-page plate of Christmas cookies. This copy belonged to a professional baker named Adolf Kraft, with his signature and profession to front pastedown, and original invoice laid-in. A few little chips and stains to margins, minor rubbing to extremities, else very good. Rare.
