This J. Mendel evening gown from the mid 2000s is absolutely stunning. Micro pleated lilac silk chiffon with contrasting black silk twill ribbon colour blocking. Spaghetti straps with a very slight v neck line. Fitted through the waist with a flowing with interior boning, pleated floor length skirt. The strategic pleating, ruching and colour blocking through the waist is very flattering. The skirt moves beautifully when walking. Invisible zipper up centre back seam. Excellent vintage condition. Made in France. Marked US size 4.
